The Grinnell College Immersive Experiences Lab (GCIEL) is an interdisciplinary community of inquiry and practice exploring new ways to approach the liberal arts through immersive 360° storytelling, 3D scanning, and extended reality (XR) experiences. We design, develop, implement, and evaluate experiences that support the mission and values of Grinnell College and that can be distributed as open educational resources for the common good.
